Good one. I noted Ms Gould on Vassy’s show tonight, desperately trying to distance herself from the very things she’s been an enthusiastic cheerleader for over the past nine years. She’s going to cut out any future increases in the carbon tax, but the carbon tax already in place is saving the planet, so it’s not going anywhere. But what really stuck in my craw, and it’s true for Freeland and Carney too, is the utter hypocrisy of the very people responsible for policy that has so damaged the country, now bloviating about the importance of saving jobs in forestry, oil and gas and mining. You know, the very same jobs they’ve spent a decade trying to eliminate entirely to appease Gaia and her goblin, Greta. These people are unserious, delusional, and dangerous. We need an election now, not in October. And now that Hans Gruber Guilbeault has endorsed Carney, who suddenly says he’d lose the carbon tax even though a year ago he criticized Trudeau because the carbon tax was too low, expect the gaslighting to increase exponentially.
Absolutely agree with you, but I sense a lot of Ontarians are jonesing to vote Liberal again. Many do not yet connect Cartier Carney's climate fanaticism with inflation and ruining the economy. Ontario women were among the last holdouts supporting Trudeau. Women do not generally like Poilievre at all. They did not like Jason Kenney, either.
Spread the good word to your female friends. The Liberals really need to go, as most governments do after a decade, only more so, given all the damage they have done.
Its amazing how many Canadians do-not follow what is happening in Canada, they don’t follow politicians or even know what policies they are trying to pass , we have legacy media who fail to do their jobs of protecting the public or even presenting the pro’s and con’s, most are all Trudeau propaganda machines. Government should not be funding the media including CBC. Our military has been stripped down to DEI and gender identity instead of military might…. we have no fighter jets, no battleships no tanks , no helicopters, no submarines, no surface to air missiles and have failed to meet our obligation to Nato to fund our military at 2% of GDP. The world has become a much more dangerous place and we have voters who vote for someone because of his last name and he has nice hair. They pay no attention to ….no jobs, no housing, unsustainable debt, high inflation, high crime, failing healthcare, a falling dollar, and a falling stock market. Things certainly have changed since the election of Trudeau.
Regardless of whom you vote for, you need to be informed and understand the impact of government policies.
Financial illiteracy is endemic in this country. Schools don't teach it and never have, so many people just vote emotionally. Teachers' unions ensure that never changes and politicians exploit an innumerate populace that's been totally tuned up on every progressive social and environmental issue.
Then there's a wealth effect from skyrocketing house prices, especially in Toronto and Vancouver, which has made a lot of inner city residents of those cities incredibly complacent. In Vancouver especially, real estate has been hugely inflated by offshore money laundering, as Sam Cooper has shown.
There's also a low expectations effect. When people just assume all politicians are corrupt, they justify not bothering to distinguish between their very different policies. We saw that with Adscam, SNC, WE and now with election interference.
Finally, when one lives in a part of the country that has never been attacked by federal policies, one's house is worth a fortune and one feels like a genius for it, maybe one gets a bit casual about politics?
Carney is the LAST thing Canada needs. He’ll utterly ruin what’s left of our struggling economy. Get the WEF lap dogs out of our country and slam the door behind them.
I wonder how Carney justifies the fact that Brookfield moved its head office from Toronto to New York while he was advising … because Canada is such a great place to invest?

It just ain’t happening. Go back to your WEF Old Boys Club. Your best B4 due date has expired. Canada does not need Trudeau 2.0 on steroids.
